This pair of sterling silver celtic earrings are set with Connemara Green Marble from my families quarry. Every piece of marble is as unique as a fingerprint. 

Celtic knotwork is very closely associated with Ireland. Irish monks during the 8th century  used it to great effect in illuminated manuscripts like ‘The Book of Kells’. This form of Irish art was called insular art. The term derives from ‘insula’, the Latin term for “island”.

It has also been used to in silver and gold work dating back 1300 years. The combination of Celtic knotwork and Connemara marble celebrates two iconic products of Ireland

All our jewellery is delivered in a specially made tin to keep it safe. It comes wrapped in 100% Irish tweed woven by Kerry Woolen Mills.

Our marble is one of Irelands rarest stones and the skills needed to quarry it have been gained through time and experience.
